Founded in 1999 by Certified Orthotist, Bernie Veldman, Midwest Orthotics has built its reputation on customer service. Having worked as an orthotist in the Michiana area for over 7 years prior to opening Midwest Orthotics, Bernie developed many long term relationships with physical therapists, physicians and clients in the area to help provide a new level of orthotic and pedorthic healthcare.

With the foundation of Midwest Orthotic & Technology Center in South Bend, Indiana, in December of 2000, the family owned facility has had the opportunity to grow and serve more clients, physicians and therapists throughout Northern Indiana.
